The chopper:

  • Designed for a good grip and controlled movement.
  • No sharp blade exposed to the fingers.
  • Handle adapted to a child's hand.

Made in Denmark from reinforced PA6, free of BPA, PFAS, and phthalates, and CE-approved.

Recommended for ages 3 and up and must always be used under adult supervision. The tool is designed for real cooking and is not a toy.

Getting started

Use the Chopper to chop parsley, nuts, or soft vegetables into smaller pieces. Show your child the correct motion, and always use the tool together with an adult.

How to care for the Chopper

We recommend washing by hand with mild dish soap and lukewarm water. Rinse and dry the tool thoroughly.

If you choose to use the dishwasher, the temperature must be max. 55 °C. Hand washing is the best choice if you want to take good care of the tool.

Check the Chopper regularly and replace it if cracks or damage occur.

Solve it - completely on your own

Chopping is one of the tasks children are often kept away from - too close to a sharp knife, with too much that can go wrong. The MINI Chopper solves that: the same result, but designed so your child can do it entirely on their own.

The tool is shaped to provide a good grip and controlled movement, without requiring a sharp knife in their hand. Like the rest of the MINI family, it is made in Denmark, CE-approved, and free from BPA, PFAS, and phthalates.

A little chopped parsley over the potatoes, finely chopped nuts on breakfast - these are the small contributions that create the feeling of having made the meal together, not just watched.

Designed for little hands

Sharp enough for vegetables and fruit - not fingers

A real knife with a rounded tip - sharp enough for vegetables and fruit, gentle on fingers. So your child can cut, chop and peel all by themselves

More than a toy

Authentic cooking, together with you

Not plastic toys, but real tools in a child-friendly size. Create memories at the kitchen table while your child learns to cut, chop, and peel - all on their own

Oskar, 5 years old

"Oskar of course wanted to wear both an apron and a chef's hat when we were going to cook.

He was so proud to cut the bell pepper himself and just had to tell us at dinner what he had made.

It was so lovely to have him in the kitchen."

Theo, 3 years old

"Theo is really happy with his MINI Family set, and it's so lovely that he can now join us in the kitchen and actually be allowed to help out.

We especially think the utensils are really good because they are made in a size that fits small hands, while still being genuinely usable.

Theo thinks it's incredibly exciting to be allowed to help with cooking, and the set has definitely made it easier and more fun to include him in the kitchen."

Sarah, 2.5 years old

"My granddaughter loves being in the kitchen, and now she finally has the opportunity to do so. We love the kitchen utensils from MINI Family."

Max, 1.5 years old

"We are so happy with the knives and cutting board in the kitchen. Max is still a little too young for the potato peeler, but the other items are used frequently.

And he absolutely loves the apron and chef's hat so much that he also wants to wear them when he plays in his own little play kitchen."
