The knife:
- Rounded tip and short blade, adapted to a child’s grip.
- Sharp enough for vegetables and fruit - gentle on fingers.
The knife is made in Denmark from reinforced PA6, assembled and packaged in Denmark, and CE-approved.
Recommended from age 3 and must always be used under adult supervision. The knife is made for real cooking and is not a toy.
Getting started
Let your child start with soft foods such as cucumber, banana, or bell pepper, and practice at their own pace. Help them keep their fingers away from the cutting edge, and always use the knife with an adult.
How to care for the knife
We recommend hand-washing with mild dish soap and lukewarm water. Rinse and dry the knife thoroughly.
If you choose to use the dishwasher, the temperature must be max. 55 °C. Higher heat may cause the knife to change shape. Repeated dishwasher use may affect the strength of the plastic over time, so hand-washing is the best choice if you want to take good care of the knife.
Check the knife regularly and replace it if cracks or damage occur.

You have 30 days from receipt to cancel your purchase.
- First 14 days: You will receive a full refund of the purchase amount, including standard shipping, and we offer a return label.
- From day 15 to 30: You will receive a refund of the purchase price of the products. The original shipping cost and return shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

The first real knife
Every chef starts somewhere. For most of us, it never started - we weren’t allowed to until we were teenagers. The MINI Chef’s Knife changes that: a real knife your child can use independently, from an early age.
The blade is sharp enough to cut through vegetables and fruit, but its shape - rounded tip, short blade - was designed with one purpose: so a child can use it without getting cut. It is CE-approved and free from BPA, PFAS, and phthalates.
The chef’s knife is the one that gets picked up first - for the cucumber in the packed lunch, the apple for an afternoon snack, the half onion for dinner. The more it is used, the more natural it becomes.
